Just spoke with Tonya and she got a call from the Dr. this morning saying that they were going to take Johnny back into sugery this morning to clean out his wounds on his arm and leg. They will continue to do this periodically to clean out the wound and prevent infection. He will be sedated to perform the surgery but should come out of the anesthesia fairly quick afterwards. Depending on how well he does after surgery the plan is to still extubate him later this evening. Johnny continued to follow commands for the medical staff overnight and all reports are promising. Good luck during your surgery Johnny...
