Monday morning Johnny was still very agitated but was awake. He was still opening his eyes in response to the voices of his friends and family. He would attempt to turn his head towards your voice and would still squeeze your hand when prompted to. He was breathing with minimal support from the ventilator and his vital signs were stable. He was running a small temperature and was pretty swollen which was a response to the increased amounts of fluids he had recieved. He remained in this state for the better part of the afternoon.
At 4pm Johnny was taken into surgery to clean out his arm and leg wounds to prevent infection.
After surgery Johnny was heavily sedated. He would remain unresponsive due to sedation for the remainder of the night but was comfortable and stable.
