Bootcamp has begun...

Johnny has transfered to rehab!!!! YAYYYY! After being in the hospital for 6 weeks, Johnny has started the next phase of his recovery. Johnny transfered to Brooks Rehab facility in Jacksonville on Friday night. Johnny has come such a long way and has leaped over so many hurdles and nothing is stopping him. The next 3 weeks will be long and hard but also a blessing for Johnny. Good luck Johnny as you start this very challenging part of your recovery process. You have so many people praying for you and we all know you can do this! Keep your head in it and you will rise above this!

Please say a special prayer that God gives Johnny the strength he needs to sail through rehab. May God control the pain and walk with Johnny as he starts this next phase of his recovery!

I will post Johnny's new phone number tomorrow but you may also reach Johnny on his cell phone!

Daddy's girl is on her way...

Just a quick update on Johnny. He is still in the hospital and waiting to have his surgery for his skin grafts. He had a little set back. He developed an infection in his leg and is being treated with antibiotics. After the course of antibiotics is complete, Johnny will have his surgery. The doctors are planning for next week. Keep your fingers crossed.

Addy is on her way to Florida and is SUPER excited. I saw her yesterday and that is all she talked about is going to see her daddy! I know this will be a very emotional visit but one that will be very uplifting for Johnny. He has not seen his baby girl in over a month and misses her greatly!

Johnny is still enduring heavy physical therapy and is doing great! He is making so much progress. Say a prayer that the surgery will happen soon so Johnny can get out of the hospital and begin the next phase of his recovery!

I'll will keep you posted on his progress...
